About Vier Animal Physiotherapy

Located in South Lincolnshire and the Fens.
Proudly operated by Carlie Wood BSc (Hons), Dip. A.Physio, IAAT, AHPR.

Over 15 years of experience in the animal industry.

I have cultivated extensive expertise in animal behaviour, training, and rehabilitation.

My journey has included hands-on roles at several canine rehoming centres, where I honed my skills in animal health and welfare, handling, behaviour, and training. This practical experience has been invaluable in developing my treatment techniques as an Animal Physiotherapist, ensuring that your animal receives the highest quality care.

My work at a hydrotherapy centre further enhances my knowledge and handling skills in the rehabilitation sector. I have also taught animal management at both further and higher educational institutions, sharing my passion and expertise with future professionals.

I hold a BSc degree in Animal Biology from Nottingham Trent University, with a focus on Animal Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Animal Health and Disease, and Animal Breeding and Genetics.

After working in education for many years, teaching Animal Care, I went on to obtain a Level 3 Certificate in Small Animal Hydrotherapy and a Level 6 Post-Graduate Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy, where I graduated with distinction in 2020 beginning my journey as a Veterinary Physiotherapist.
